Kalle has quickly become the cat of my heart. Cuddly and affectionate, he can usually be found wherever I am, when he is not trying to escape from Nati, who can be quite pushy towards him. Born in 2011, this beautiful red and white BSH mix has been enriching this cat household since 2018.

Unfortunately, there was a very painful break in his life, because Kalle had a brother: Gizmo, who was also the namesake of my domains. I took over this cat in 2015 because he allegedly didn’t get along with Kalle at all in his “old” territory. When Kalle then joined me in 2018, there was no sign of hostility, on the contrary, the two just squatted together. At the end of 2019, Gizmo developed an intestinal lymphoma very quickly and completely unnoticed, from one moment to the next he didn’t want to eat anymore and became more and more bloated, so that I unfortunately had to let him go. A world collapsed for Kalle. He no longer ate anything and withdrew more and more.

So I decided to get two more kittens: Nati and Jerry. Of all things, it was little Nati who brought Kalle out of his depression. Since she arrived, he is happier than ever, even if he sometimes flees because of her pushy nature.

A characteristic of his is that he has an almost naked underbelly, probably an allergy, but it doesn’t bother him too much. He doesn’t clean himself excessively there and it doesn’t seem to itch either, it’s just a little bare.
